American Field Archery Championships
Saturday and Sunday archers
need to be ready to shoot at 8:00am due
to winter daylight problems. We will talk at 8:00am and start shooting at 8:30am.
The
Florida Senior Games are being hosted the Saturday
before. Archers are welcome to participate.
Florida is an Open state, all archers can compete.
The Bunny target is shot differently than what NFAA shooters may be used to. Please review the format below carefully:
These targets consist of four small faces arranged in a square.
Archers will shoot in a “Z” pattern:
Top Left → Top Right →
Bottom Left → Bottom Right
Only one arrow per face.
All four arrows are shot at a single face.
Left-hand shooters shoot at the left-hand face, and right-hand shooters shoot at the right-hand face.
On fan shots, the two arrows shot from the left-hand markers will be shot at the left-hand face, and the two arrows from the right-hand markers will be shot at the right-hand face.
All four arrows are shot at a single face.
Rule C6 applies if multiple faces are used.
Rule C6: When multiple faces are used on a target butt, each archer must shoot their designated face to avoid confusion and damage to arrows.
FOOD:
There will be food
available at the range on Saturday. There will be food
Sunday while we are waiting for scores to come in.

RANGE DIRECTIONS:
From Interstate 75 Exit 143 – go east on Bayshore Road (State Road 78) a half mile. Go north on Nalle Road 2 1/2 miles. Go west on Nalle Grande Road 1 1/2 miles. Enter through park gate on south side of the road and follow the dirt road to the pavilion.

Pro Divisions $147.50, Adult &
Senior Divisions $47.50, Junior Divisions
$37.50. There is an extra $4.00 to register by
phone or email and pay at the shoot.
(Currently we will be taking
the extra Pro fees at the shoot if needed (if you
really want to pay them online, please let me know -
there are credit card fees if we do that).

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Mailed entries should be postmarked by December 1th (US) or November 27th (Canada & Mexico). Phoned or Emailed registrations through December 11th will be accepted for a $4 surcharge payable at the shoot. Registration at the shoot will require a $15 late fee added to the normal registration fee.

Round 1: 28 Field targets begin at 8:30 AM
After Lunch: 14 Animal targets (no bonus spots)
Sunday:
Assembly: 8:00 AM
Round 2: 28 Hunter targets begin at 8:30 AM
Awards Ceremony: As soon as all scores are posted to the scoreboards and divisions are realigned — typically 30 minutes after the last shooter finishes.
SHOOTING STYLE INFORMATION: NFAA Archers: If you tell the registration chairman your normal shooting style, he will place you in your correct division. IFAA has some different names.
