SHOOTING RULES/INFORMATION:
New DRESS CODE
1. All
athletes and coaches must present a professional, athletic
appearance while on the field. (Torn, ripped or badly faded
clothing articles are not allowed.) Clothing may be of any
color.
2. No camo
or blue denim (jeans) may be worn at target events.
Accessories such as trim on shirts, caps, quivers,
armguards, footwear, etc., are permitted to be camo. At
field events, denim may be worn but camo may not be worn.
3. Shorts,
skorts and skirts must not be shorter than finger tip length
while standing normally.
4. Men and
women are required to wear upper garments covering the front
and back of the body and covering the midriff when at full
draw. Women's upper garments shall have a minimum strap of
3" or sleeves. Men's upper garments shall have short or long
sleeves.
5.
Sport/athletic shoes are recommended to all athletes and
coaches during target events. Shoes must cover the entire
foot.
BOW WEIGHT: Compound bows are restricted to 60# draw weight maximum!
ARROW SIZE: Arrows
are restricted to a maximum of 9.3 mm shaft diameter. With
aluminum shafts, this would include all shafts of 23 diameter
except the 2317. Shafts currently produced in the 23
size
category and legal under the
9.3 mm rule are the 2312, 2314, and 2315 (as of 1 April
2001). Anything larger is not legal.
No electronics!
BAREBOW:
Barebow division is limited to recurve bows. (Compound
Barebow shooters will be classified Compound-Fingers).
[Unbraced bow complete with accessories must be capable of
passing through a hole or ring of 12.2cm inside diameter +/-
0.5mm] (that's approximately 4.8
inches) -- No
stabilizers and no draw checks (no clickers).
DIRECTIONS: The range is located 3.5 miles south of Ft. Meade on Highway 17 south.

PRE-REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Mailed entries should be postmarked by October 30.
LATE-REGISTRATION: Phoned registrations through 8 November accepted for a $2 surcharge payable at shoot. Registration at the shoot requires full late fee at registration address or at range on Saturday.
SHOOTING SCHEDULE: Talk at 8:00, shoot at 8:30. We will shoot 1 24 target FITA Field round on Saturday and 1 on Sunday (12 marked and 12 unmarked each round - three arrows per target).
LUNCH: Drinks and food will be available at the shoot.

CAMPING SITE INFO:
Prices are very

Central Florida Archers has
primitive camping on the range (no water and no power)
Hammock Lk Mobile Home Park,
1801 HWY 17, Ft Meade (1.5 miles north of range)
863/285-9560. They have water and power hook up but no
toilet facilities. Rate is $17.50 per night.
River Valley RV Resort, 2555
HWY 17, Wauchula (15 miles south of range) 863/773-0088.
They have water and power hook-up, as well as restroom
facilities. Rate is $20.00 per night.
MISCELLANEOUS
INFORMATION: NAA or NFAA membership required.
Styles and Divisions
will be in accordance with
NAA rules. Pre-registration “no-shows” will receive
refund less $2 processing fee.
