RANGE LOCATION: 24820 NW 16th Ave; Newberry, FL 32669 (Easton - Newberry Sports Complex)
RANGE DIRECTIONS: Take Exit 387 and head West on Newberry Road for about 12 miles until you reach the City of Newberry. Take a right at the US-27 N light in Newberry. Continue on US-27 N for about 1.5 miles and take right on the dirt road with the "Newberry Sports Complex" blue sign. The range will be located to the left of the Easton-Newberry Sports Complex building.
SHOOTING RULES/INFORMATION:
DRESS CODE: It's simple -
No blue jeans, no camo -- any color top,
white, khaki or dark blue bottoms.
BOW WEIGHT: Compound bows are restricted to 60# draw weight maximum!
ARROW SIZE: Arrows are
restricted
to a maximum of 9.3 mm shaft
diameter. With aluminum shafts,
this would include all shafts of 23
diameter except the 2317.
Shafts currently produced in the 23 size
category and legal under the 9.3
mm rule are the 2312, 2314, and 2315
(as of 1 April 2001).
Anything
larger is not legal.
NO ELECTRONICS! This also means nothing electric on the bow to light up the sight.
TIME LIMIT: 4 Minutes
for
6 arrows (day 1) and 2 Minutes for 3 arrows
(day 2). We will shoot
AB/BA
(alternate shooting first and second on
the line).
BAREBOW: Barebow
division
is limited to recurve bows. (Compound
Barebow shooters will be
classified
Compound-Fingers). [Unbraced bow
complete with accessories must
be capable of passing through a hole or
ring of 12.2cm inside diameter
+/- 0.5mm] (that's approximately 4.8
inches) -- No stabilizers
and no draw checks (no clickers).

PRE-REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Mailed entries should be postmarked by August 15, 2009.
LATE-REGISTRATION: Phoned registrations through 21 August 2009 accepted for a $2 surcharge payable at shoot. Registration at the shoot requires full late fee at registration address or at range on Saturday.
SHOOTING SCHEDULE: Saturday, 8:30 AM – 1/2 FITA Round: Sunday, 8:30 AM – 1/2 FITA Round.
LUNCH: Drinks and food will be available at the shoot.
